Visit to the Bluegrass State

We had the opportunity to visit my family in KY this weekend. Abby traveled really well this time around--much thanks to the portable DVD player and BOZ videos! Though the time always flies by and never seems long enough, it was a great visit overall. Abby really enjoyed spending time with her Gran and Papaw, Mamaw, Grandma, Uncle Kris, Aunts Cathy, Cynthia and Ami and cousin Azurie, who's just two months younger. We had lots of playtime with Azurie, and it was so much fun to watch the girls interact and play together more than ever. We also enjoyed a day on Aunt Cathy's new boat. Abby was a bit unsure about it at first, but she finally got in the lake with me and she and Azurie enjoyed the sand and water at the beach immensely.
