new traditions

Needless to say we're so excited about our first Christmas with Abby. Our excitement isn't so much because of the gifts and such, as Abby would be just as happy with a bow and some paper to krinkle as she would a fancy toy. We're excited because we both love this time of year and we have the opportunity to begin new traditions for our family in celebrating this grand occasion each year...the birth of our Savior!

We put up the tree today and enjoyed watching Abby marvel at the beads, lights and ornaments. Notice we had to block off the bottom of the tree to keep little Munchkin from pulling it over, or at least stripping the bottom of ornaments. As you can see, she so badly wants to get to it. :-)
