a mommy-daughter date

I thoroughly enjoyed some one-on-one time with my big girl today before she embarks on first grade tomorrow. Sigh. I'm really not excited about that, but happen it must, I guess. We made the most of our time today. First, breakfast at McD's, grocery shopping (she loves to help me) and then a special trip to the nail salon for new polish. I love this girl to pieces, and I'm going to miss SO much having her around all the time during the day. She is such a blessing to me...and all who she encounters.
