a fair experience

So we enjoyed our first trip to the State Fair in 10 years this weekend. The last time we went was on our first real date. We went with John's sisters and their husbands, saw Journey in concert and John rode some rides with his sisters and one brother-in-law while I (happily) stood by and watched with the other brother-in-law (since neither of us like rides of any kind). :) Ten years later, here we are plus our little munchkin. ...petted some goats...

...watched some monkeys do funny things...

...watched a puppet show...

...and devoured some yum-o funnel cake.

Well, actually, Abby devoured the sugar; we devoured the cake.

It was so fun to be back at the Fair, reminisce about the "early days" and enjoy the experience with our Abby this time. We definitely won't wait another 10 years for our next visit!
