Burgoo

We enjoyed a weekend on the farm with Mom & Dad/Grandma & Granddad Chipman this past weekend. In addition to enjoying time with family and playing with the kittens, one of the highlights of the weekend was getting to attend Burgoo, an annual festival held in Chandlerville where John grew up. "Burgoo" is actually a stew which they cook in huge vats for hours and hours. Fesitvals are always fun just for something different. Abby really enjoyed taking the parade in Saturday morning, running through the park at full speed, petting the bunnies and even dancing to the live music. :-) She also experienced her first carnival rides with Dad--the big slide and the "Dizzy Dragons."
