a blessing

My parents came for a weekend visit on short notice to spend some time with Abby during and after a minor outpatient surgery I had on Friday. All went wonderfully with my surgery, praise God, and having my parents here was such a blessing. They took Abby to a little local zoo and nice waterpark/playground and just played with her all weekend so that John could focus on caring for me post-op. I was able to rest and recover all weekend like I should and am already feeling close to normal! :) Here are a few pics of the weekend happenings...
