an update on the robin families

As I mentioned before, we've been watching some baby robins grow in their nests. It's been too fun! Abby insists that we check on the baby birdies every time we go outside. Here are they are just a week after that last post on the robin families. The first nest below has two birds--brand new with barely any fuzz--the second has three, which are probably a day or two older and fuzzier...

And here's the nest of three today, four days after the photos above. Amazing how quickly they change and grow. Unfortunately, the nest with two in it was blown upside down during a bad storm a couple of days ago. Poor birdies. So sad. :-( But we'll continue to "follow" these three...
